Through the years, car manufacturers have been developing high performance classic cars for sale to add to their lineup. A local charity organization decided to tackle the issue of transportation for a women’s shelter they frequently collaborated with to provide assistance to women who were living in abusive homes. The women’s shelter offered a safe place to live for the woman and her children if she had any, on a temporary basis until other arrangements could be made. While the women spend time in the shelter they are provided with counseling, legal assistance, medical care if needed, and a social worker to help them find a job, new place to live and establish a safe network away from the abuser. One obstacle that continued to pop up for woman as they attempted to create a new life was transportation. This was particularly difficult for women who had children and needed to get them to school, activities and safe family members. The shelter communicated their needs to another local charity that had a good idea about how to solve this problem.
