There was an amazing black 28 seater Party Coach limo that used to cruise the streets of Bristol carrying hen night parties and stag night parties, children’s parties and sometimes even corporate event celebrations. The Party Bus limo was outstanding, full of extras such as:
- Fantastic purple and pink wave style seating with contrasting piping
- An 8 seat executive gambling den with poker table, a full set of playboy poker chips, playboy playing cards with automatic shuffler.
- Bar facilities (on tap bar with on board courier service) and
- an on board W.C
The audio/visual/disco features consisted of
- 6 x 1800 watt sub woofers
- 28 200 watt mid-range speakers
- 6 x 2000 amplifiers
- 6 Flat Screen TV’s with DVD Player
- 60 Mini Led disco lights
- 2 x mini disco bars with disco dancing acrylic bar top
- 600 feet of Glowing fibre optic
- Colour Changing disco ceiling
It was one of the most spectacular and popular limousines to be found outside of the London area. Then one day it simply disappeared. No one knows of its whereabouts but there are still plenty of people searching.
Some say has that this limo has travelled to Birmingham to compete for hire with another set of amazing party coach limousines but this is unfounded. Others say that it has been decommissioned; however this too has never been proved. So what has happened to this mother of all Party Bus limousines?
It is possible that this superb Party Bus limousine could be changing hands (rumour has it that its former Bristol based owners were looking to sell it for a mere £35,000), though where it will end up is anyone’s guess. In the mean time people all over the United Kingdom continue to search for the elusive 28 seater Party Bus limo. Limousine companies throughout the UK are bombarded with customers asking after the Party Bus limousines for events as diverse as weddings to computer technology exhibitions. Let’s hope that wherever it travels to next it will continue to be as fantastic as it has always been.
There are further rumours still that an even larger double decker Party Bus limousine, a 50 seater vehicle, is due to be launched in the next few weeks. Whether it has the same amazing extras that made the 28 seater Party Bus limo so successful remains to be seen. Watch this space for news of what could be the best Party Bus limousine ever created and be one of the first to show off its amazing set of features.

Used cars have always been a big part of the car market as most are a first choice for many people across the United Kingdom. This is because most are reliable and stylish and well kept even though they are older and cheaper than their newer models.
Due to the size of the used car market many of the big name brands are being advertised straight into the used car dealers and magazines after just one year from new purchase. One of these new major car brands includes Lexus that have placed their used cars on the market. But it is not only the manufacturers themselves that place their used cars on the market but it is also private owners that have had a used Lexus, or any other used luxury car, for a period of time and then want to sell it on. This, in fact, is mostly what makes up the used car market, the private owners, and you will see this advertised in any used car magazines bought today.
For many years, the BMW was a popular used car on the garage forecourts. BMW have always had something of a status symbol attached to them due to their reputation and performance. They also never lose their style and new or used, are always admired by passers by.
those who would like to own a Jaguar have been lucky in finding them on a used car forecourt. The Jaguar is one car that is instantly recognisable and that never goes out of fashion. It also comes with a high position in the status stakes. Once you have purchased your used car, nobody else knows that you haven’t had it from new and this is something that makes them more appealing to the people who cannot afford a brand new car.
Lexus is a popular brand in the used car market because they are known for their comfort and reliability. This means that many families across the United Kingdom choose the used Lexus saloons as they know that there is a low risk of the car failing and it will be comfortable for everyone who uses it. This means that the used Lexus sector of the market is slowly increasing due to the fact that nearly all vehicles sell in quick time within the car being placed on the market. For those who prefer a different type of status symbol there are other used cars on teh market, such as used Porsche or used Ford Fiesta.
The Lexus sector is becoming as popular as other major car brands such as BMW, Mercedes and others such as Toyota, cadillac and Peugeot. There are many different used models on sale on the used car market from Lexus and due to the age of some of the vehicles some are from the new model range. This is due to the fact that any person can sell their car after they have owned it for a period of time whether short or long.
An example would be someone buying a new Lexus IS series owning, it for a week and then placing it on the used car market. This is not very common as most people own their cars for at least 6 months to a year but there could be some cases if that particular person does not like the car, or needs a different car for a different purpose. Some of the used Lexus models on the market include the different saloon models such as the IS series and GS series.

Scale model construction equipment is a sample copy or a representation model of an object and is usually smaller than the original size. Sometimes it can also be larger but mostly it is also available in the size of a scale known as scale model.
The Scale model construction equipment helps us and guides us in the construction of full size object. The models are made by amateur model makers also known as Hobbyists who make varieties of die-cast models, remote control vehicles, injection molded, model ships, model bikes, model planes, model railroads and even ships in bottles are available for amusement.
Scale model construction equipments are often created by professionals, for many reasons and various professions like for Engineers who wants to test its creditability and performance at an earlier stage before incurring the full cost. Any further development is done only after the approval of the scale model.
Scale model construction equipment are of great use to the architects who have to construct various design and implement innovative ideas in them to get the look of the final product which is easily accomplished by the scale model. These architectural models help them in their presentation and sell the new look before it is built.
Various scale model construction equipment also include the vehicles that are the representation or the sample of construction vehicles like crane, backhoe, excavator and concrete pump etc used in construction. These vehicles are constructed in 1:50 scale and the cranes extend to three to four feet at this measurement and if the limit is extended it would be unsuitable for table display.
The scale model construction equipment vehicles are also very popular in toy available in Germany and in US they have even spread out as promotional models used for construction by the manufacturer of the prototype real world equipment. There is a competitive market between Germany and some Chinese firms.

Used or secondhand trucks can be an option for buyers having limited budget, though they may not have highly sophisticated features that are available in the recent ones. A truck is a motor vehicle for transporting goods. The word ‘truck’ comes from the Greek ‘trochos,’ which means ‘wheel.’
Used trucks are often sold as pieces of historical memorabilia and prices of some of these trucks may be higher than those that are currently available. People who own used trucks, and who require cash, can sell their vehicles to truck dealers. These trucks have costs according to their uniqueness and operational age. Trucks manufactured in the thirties are usually priced higher than are those produced in the fifties or sixties. Moreover, old trucks have prices in the range of two thousand to fifteen thousand dollars. People are delighted in owning and maintaining their old trucks that are great attractions at vintage truck fairs and rallies.
Shopping online is perfect in case of a used truck. There are websites developed and maintained by truckers, which are dedicated exclusively to the trucking industry. It is advisable for a person to search on an advanced search engine to find listings that meet his or her precise requirements; there is also a provision for browsing by category.
When buying comparatively a newer used truck, it is recommended to find one that is less than three years old, if possible. A person can use online finance calculator for getting a good idea of what he or she can afford for a used truck. In addition, it is always beneficial to check the Blue Book price for any used truck that is to be bought. Taking precaution is very important when buying a used truck from a private supplier. Not only this, a purchaser should check the identity of the seller and the truck should be examined by a mechanic. A dealership may offer higher prices than private sellers, but it will come with some type of warranty and onsite financing.

Throughout the UK, particularly in the London regions, there is a plethora of American limousines to choose from. This not only includes the massive 4×4 limousines such as the H2 Hummer and H3 Hummer limousines, Ford Excursion limousine, Jeep Expedition limo and Lincoln Navigator limo but also the contemporary white stretch Lincoln Town Car and Chrysler C300 limousine. American limousines are well represented nationwide including limo hire in Manchester.
The most popular of the American 4×4 limos has to be the massive Hummer H2 limousine. It is the biggest and most glamorous of them all. Available in a range of colours including pink, black, white, silver and even yellow as well as different styles such as the triple axle Hummer, their popularity knows no limit. For the 8 seater limousines the Chrysler C300 Baby Bentley limousine has overtaken the stretched Lincoln Town Car as the most popular of its class. It is easy to see why; the Baby Bentley limo is full of amazing extras and with its Bentley looks the Lincoln Millennium was always going to struggle to compete. However the Lincoln Town Car limo is still way ahead of the Cadillac limousine which is very rare in the UK. The Ford Excursion and Lincoln Navigator limos still have a place in the limousine industry as many are superb limousines. They are often rented if the price of the Hummer H2 limo is just too high for some people but to the untrained eye they are often mistaken for Hummers. For limousine companies they are a lot cheaper to run and more fuel efficient than the Hummer limos, so most limousine companies have a Jeep 4×4 limo or Lincoln Navigator limo as part of their fleet.
In the last couple of years there has been a surge of European limousines brought in to compete with the American limos. They include the BMW limo, the Range Rover Vogue and Sport limousines, Porsche Cayenne limousine and the Audi Q7 limousine. They are not as big as the Hummer limousines but in the UK market they are likely to do well as they can be easily recognised. For the American 8 seater limousines there is only one competitor at the moment, the Ferrari limousine. However, the high price tag may put off a lot of people so for the moment the Lincoln Millennium and Chrysler C300 limos are ahead in popularity.
It remains to be seen if the Porsche Cayenne limo, Audi Q7 limousine and the other European limos can become more popular than their American counterparts. It may just be that all will comfortably fill a niche in the limousine industry so as not to compete with the American 4×4s at all. After all many of the European limos are smaller than the Jeep Excursion and Hummer limos typically seating up to 12 people compared to the 14 in the Navigator limousine and 16 in the Hummer limo. It will also be interesting to see which limo rolls off the production line next. Watch this space. Limotek limousine hire - providers of limousine hire to all areas of the UK including limousine hire London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Midlands and Edinburgh.

The price of any antique item can be higher depending on how were able to give a new look and life to the classic item. Let me give you some advice on how make antique autos profitable by restoring and selling them.
Restoration
1. Look for enough space. The first step for restoring your old car is looking for enough space to do the job. This will depend on how many antique autos are going to repair. Furthermore, take into consideration the room needed when dismantling the parts of each auto and building up the auto again.
2. Use original parts as much as possible. It is also recommended that original parts should be used so that appreciate the value of your car. And then can easily convince your prospect buyer that your asking price is justified.
3. Give auto a new look through research. If do not have enough knowledge on the specific auto you restoring, read auto magazines or search the internet to educate yourself on how to enhance the look and performance of auto.also be creative but make sure that antique autos will have its original look when it first came out in the market.
4. Seek the help of a professional. This is recommended if have exhausted all your knowledge, time, expertise and money when restoring antique autos. There may be situations that seeking a professional help would be better than doing the job yourself.
Selling
1. Maintain the autos. Once done with the restoration process, autos are now ready to be sold. Since the process may take some time, ensure that autos are clean and working properly at all times.
2. Advertise when possible. There are a lot of free classified car ads where advertise antique cars. Additional, also post a message about antique autos on boards regarding automobiles (if you are allowed). Look for free or cheap venues to market your product.

With one of the largest and most diverse equipment fleets to manage and maintain in New South Wales, reliability and productivity are key priorities when it comes to selecting new equipment.
Located in Sydney’s south, Sutherland Shire Council’s fleet of around 250 major items includes four CASE 590SR backhoes, four CASE 40XT skid steer loaders, 33 garbage trucks and 80 trucks ranging from 20 tonne prime movers to two tonne tippers. “We also maintain 80 fire vehicles for the Rural Fire Service and have a range of specialty equipment for maintaining our local beaches, parks and golf courses.
With such a large fleet to manage and maintain, the Council chooses new equipment under an extensive tendering process which includes evaluation of price, reliability, maintenance and safety. “We also involve our operators in the evaluation process. They’re the ones sitting in the cab all day, so it’s important that they feel confident with the machinery selected.”
In terms of OH&S, CASE equipment’s ergonomic design ensures ease of use and operator comfort. “The 590SR cab is comfortable, with good instrumentation and control placement plus all round visibility that allows the operator to safely concentrate on the job at hand.
The Council has been using CASE equipment for the past 10 years, with Ray also commenting that reliability, ease of operation and maintenance have stood out as key features over that time. On average, the council upgrades it backhoes every seven years averaging 650 hours per year and its skid steers every five years averaging 700 hours per year. “We put the machines to work constructing new footpaths, kerbs, gutters and driveways and cleaning gross pollutant traps and parkland areas.”
Maintenance is also simple and is done in-house by one of the council’s vehicle mechanics.Every three months the machines are serviced by workshop staff who go over them from top to bottom,.“We do everything from oil sampling, to determine when the oil needs changing, to a full book service. We also have our own parts store and keep high use items in stock all the time. However, we know that if we don’t have the part we need in stock our local CASE dealer, Conplant, will be able to deliver it quickly, enabling us to get the machine back on the job avoiding extensive downtime.”

Isuzu is still in the pickup truck business, selling their version of the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon compact pickup. Isuzu’s version is a likeable truck, though the model range is limited.
At the first glance, the Isuzu i-series is often perceived, not quite correctly, as a warmed-over General Motors product. While the i-series is more or less identical to the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon, the fact is that Isuzu did have a hand in the truck’s development. The deal was that Chevy and GMC would have first shot at selling the truck in North America while Isuzu would sell a slightly different diesel-powered version called the D-MAX in the Asia-Pacific region, which have been very marketable.
Isuzu started selling the i280 and i350 in the US in 2006, though sales were a fraction of those of the Colorado and Canyon. Part of the problem was lack of choice. The i-series came in just two versions: The four-cylinder manual-transmission extended-cab 4×2 i280 and the five-cylinder automatic crew-cab 4×4 i350. Chevy and GMC continued to sell their versions of the truck with a wide variety of cabs, bed, engine, transmission, and driveline combinations.
For this year, things have improved slightly. The four-cylinder Isuzu now offers an automatic transmission, while the five-cylinder model comes in both extended and crew cabs as well as with a 4×2 driveline, though the 4×4 is only available as a crew cab. Both trucks also get larger engines and new names: i290 and i370, reflecting their 2.9 and 3.7 liter engines.
There is no carpet and an AM/FM radio in the driver’s seat, though air conditioning and 4-wheel antilock brakes are part of the standard parts. The truck accessories, which contain cloth seats, carpets, rear jump seats, CD/MP3 player, floor mats, and tinted windows are worth $699 all in all. The automatic transmission is at $1,089 and the bottom line is at $19,500. It contains manual door locks and crank-up windows.
The i290’s extended cab has rear-opening doors on both sides for easier access to the second row, where there is are two fold-up jump seats with 3-point belts and LATCH child seat anchors. Like most compact pickup back seats, these are best suited for kids. Once seat are pulled up, one will find a handy plastic tool box that also flips forwards to provide flat load floor.
This year, the i-series offers side curtain airbags, a rare truck accessory in pickup trucks. They are optional on LS-model extended-cab Isuzus and standard equipment on the i370 with crew cab.
By far the high point of the i290 is its engine. At 2.9 liters, it is huge for a four-cylinder engine, and it shows in the numbers: 185 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque, the latter peaking at a usefully low 2800 RPM. Those numbers represent an increase of 10 hp and 5 lb-ft over last year’s 2.8 liter engine.
It would be easy to mistake the i290’s off-the-line performance for that of a six-cylinder truck. The truck loses some of its get-up-and-go at highway speeds, though passing acceleration (50 to 75 MPH) is adequate. The four-banger has enough torque to spin the rear wheels, even under moderate acceleration.
The i290 has a payload capacity of just over 1500 lbs, whose towing capacity is 2,100 with the manual and 3,100 with the automatic, more than enough to haul a small boat, a couple of ATVs, or a utility trailer. Its bed width is 4′ 9″; bed length is 5′ for the crew cab and 6′ for the extended cab. Movable support cables allow the tailgate to be held half-way open and bear weight in this position.
The i290’s steering is light, good but not sporty. The ride is remarkably quiet at highway speeds. As mentioned earlier the i290 comes with standard antilock brakes but lacks advanced safety electronics such as electronic stability control, which is just starting to make their way into competitors’ products.
